travel guide: cottonwood canyon
it’s fall in utah! let’s see how long it lasts though…
a couple of my friends and i took a drive up big cottonwood canyon this weekend to find pretty fall leaves. we started driving up and the leaves were gorgeous and vibrant…then we kept driving and hit snow! as you drive up the canyon there is a turn off called “guardsman pass”. once you start driving up there it looks like fall on one side of the road and winter on the other! it was actually pretty cool! at the top amidst the pine trees was actual falling snow! i jumped out to get a quick picture but hurried back into the warm car because it was so freezing.
i feel like we are going to have a quick fall, it is so cold already! it makes me sad because i feel like there are still so many fall activities i haven’t done yet. i would love to host a halloween party, go to a pumpkin patch, pick apples from an orchard and make apple pie! what activities have you done to ring in the fall holiday?
