september has started, leaves are changing, it hailed the other day...but that's ok. although i miss california i am grateful for seasons here in utah. i was recently accepted into LDS Business College and have been going full force for a couple weeks now. it's seriously the greatest experience. in order to enjoy school you should be going to a school that drives you to do your best. i'm going into business entrepreneurship and nothing empowers me more than loving what i do. i'm  excited to finally start taking classes i enjoy! (boo to all the stupid generals i had to take to get here...)  but finding your passion and what you are enthusiastic about really changes your character. so you're stoked about school but what are you going to do when all the stress of tests, homework and projects all come swarm you? 

1 get up early

i learned in my entrepreneur class that successful people get up early. the morning is the perfect time to get things done. your mind is alert and awake (try taking a 2 minute cold shower to wake you up if you're not so much a morning person like me.) aaron and i work in the temple from 4:45-9 AM on saturday MORNINGS. but after we are awake and have the rest of the day we feel like we can conquer the world!   

2 dress to impress

ok i'm not saying you have to be a super fashionista everyday...i'm just saying when you get up actually get dressed and ready for the day. as much as i love lounging in leggings all day every day i start feeling lazy. girls, put on some make up! (i remember getting in trouble if i left the house without blush and lipgloss...) your teachers will notice you when you dress for success. 

3 stay organized 

this is the hardest part for me *insert crying emoji* when i am stressed i need to take an hour to "organize myself" aaron thinks i'm crazy everytime i tell him i need to "organize myself" haha this just means i need to write down my schedule for the week, when things are due, who i need to contact etc. WRITE THINGS DOWN. i've noticed i'm able to remember things a lot easier when i do this.  here is a great post i found about writing things down.
